Dr. Mohammed Shokry Zaki, a teacher and consultant of dermatology and dermatology at Al-Azhar Faculty of Medicine in Damietta, said that the problem of acne is a common and disturbing disease problem among adolescents and young people alike.



Zaki added that it is necessary to not be lazy in the treatment of acne so as to avoid complications, which may be in the form of spots or scars left traces in the skin and increase the problem.



Zaki pointed out that there are a number of foods and beverages that may increase the appearance of acne, which should be avoided, namely:



- Dairy products, because they contain many nutrients and growth hormones, which cause the emergence of acne, and milk leads to increased insulin in the body, which in turn increases acne.

 - Diet soft drinks containing aspartame increases acne.

   Sugars are the most important reasons that lead to increased acne such as chocolate, because they contain a high amount of sugars.



- Vegetable oils, which contain unsaturated fats are considered to be the main factors that cause irritation of the skin, such as corn oil and margarine, and therefore advised to avoid and replace with olive oil.
Eating junk foods, spices and spices in large quantities causes increased blood circulation in the face, leading to redness of the skin, so it should be minimized as much as possible.
